The Origins of L’ENVOL
L’Envol was born from the meeting of three artists: Pierre Dubail, Frédéric Mané and Jothi-Séroj.
Three powerful artistic worlds came together to create an exceptional piece, introducing both technical and artistic innovation to jewelry craftsmanship.
Pierre Dubail, founder of Maison Dubail, has two artistic passions: jewelry and painting. Maison Dubail’s ingenious idea was to create an exceptional piece bringing these two arts together.

Pierre Dubail learned the art of stone setting at the Haute École de Joaillerie in the 1960s and has since created the jewelry and high jewelry collections of Maison Dubail, presented in its Paris boutiques on Place Vendôme and the Champs-Élysées, with over 30 years of presence on Place Vendôme.
His passion for painting has also been part of his life for more than 60 years. His creative universe is inspired by nature, butterflies, flowers and sapphires.
Speech by Frédéric Mané on June 18, 2026 at the UFBJOP
Frédéric Mané is a renowned Parisian jewelry designer. At the Haute École de Joaillerie in Paris, he trained in the art of jewelry design with boundless creativity.
His pursuit of rarity and material innovation enables him to create high jewelry pieces that balance disruption of traditional codes with the transmission of French high jewelry values.
The French Institute of Design awarded him the JANUS “Heritage & Innovation” label in 2022.
His mission with the Dubail family was to imagine an exceptional piece inspired by both Pierre Dubail’s jewelry creations and paintings.
“Its name, L’ENVOL, feels like an obvious choice. It symbolizes optimism, elevation and generosity toward others, especially younger generations of talented individuals.”
Frédéric Mané

The French Institute of Design awarded him the JANUS “Heritage & Innovation” label in 2023.
Speech by Bernadette Pinet-Cuoq on June 18, 2026
Deeply moved, Bernadette Pinet-Cuoq, Executive President of the UFBJOP, recalled her meeting with Mr. Pierre Dubail during a trip to China alongside Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
During that trip, Mr. Pierre Dubail expressed his desire to “give back to the profession what he had the privilege to receive.” This led to the creation in 2022 of the generous and supportive Pierre Dubail Scholarship “Jewelry for All”.
“In its fifth year, the Pierre Dubail Scholarship ‘Jewelry for All’ aims to become a unifying project for the entire profession and industry. The goal is to attract numerous contributors so that more and more scholarship students can be welcomed,” assured Bernadette Pinet-Cuoq.
All exhibitions organized in support of the Pierre Dubail Scholarship have been held under the high patronage of Jean-Pierre Raffarin.
