In 1993, Panerai opened its creations to the civilian public for the very first time. More than thirty years later, the Florentine Maison celebrates this founding moment with a trio of 42 mm Luminor watches that reinterpret the spirit of the 1990s with the versatility the contemporary wrist demands.
The Legacy of a Defining Decade
True to the historic 1993 model, these three new Luminor watches preserve its very essence: a dial of great restraint, absolute legibility and the iconic crown-protecting bridge, the Maison’s signature. Water-resistant to 500 metres and powered by an automatic movement, they unite the authenticity of their origins with a reliability conceived for every occasion.
Black: The Elegance of the Essential
The first interpretation in this trio, the steel version features a matte black dial punctuated by ivory-toned Super-LumiNova® indices, their patinated hue recalling the instruments of the period. Paired with a beige canvas strap, it embodies an understated, instantly recognisable elegance that accompanies everyday life and escapes alike with effortless ease.
Blue: A New Intensity
The trio is completed by a version with a DLC-coated steel case, whose matte blue dial reveals a remarkable depth, enhanced by a canvas strap. Its dark finish accentuates the lines inherited from the 1990s and lends this historic spirit a resolutely contemporary character, for a new generation of watch connoisseurs.
